Kimrey B. Kent has been creating art for over three decades. She has experimented in watercolor, acrylic, ceramics, textiles and photography. By combining elements of all of those crafts she creates mixed media collage art that provokes dreamlike experiences. Drawn to patterns and repetition in nature, she ties these elements with the freeform of the found images she incorporates into her pieces.

When she is not creating art, she spends a large portion of her time in the hospitality world, where she enjoys good food and wine. She spends as much time as she can outdoors with her partner and son in Kansas City, Missouri
